Pavement Express is a GIS-based pavement management solution built specifically for local governments to streamline pavement lifecycle management through integrated workflows. Cityworks is the leading GIS-centric solution for public access management, fully leveraging the power of Esri ArcGIS to help communities work smarter and to better serve their residents.
The following is an overview of the integration points:
- Esri GIS pavement inventory can be imported directly into Pavement Express via a feature service that requires no manual field mapping.
- Condition survey data and inspection data from Cityworks can be imported directly into Pavement Express where PCI can then be calculated based on the inspection data and displayed in GIS.
- In Pavement Express, Inventory is viewable in GIS and condition ratings are color-coded on the map for the entire network.
- Scenarios are created in Pavement Express to form a rehabilitation strategy that optimizes an agency's budget dollars. Recommended projects from the final strategy/work plan can be imported to Cityworks and converted to proposed work activities.
- Work orders can be validated and completed in Cityworks.
- Pavement Express can import the closed work orders and update PCI and construction history based on the work completed.
